Cheney Mock General Election
BackLast week we ran a very successful mock general election. Students volunteered to represent different political parties (even those they didn't agree with - it took considerable convincing to find both a Reform UK and Conservative candidate!). Students produced manifestos, election videos, and campaigned for votes. You can see their election videos in the presentation here. Nearly 50% of our students came and cast their ballot in this mock election and it was a tight run race. Labour narrowly won with 150 votes, with Reform UK coming 2nd thanks to a truly next level campaign video - but even with a very flashy campaign students at Cheney agreed with the national results of a Labour government.
