Online Safety

Safeguarding extends into the online world too and safeguarding young people online is equally as important as it is offline.

The National College produce a number of useful guides and resources for parents/carers to support them with understanding and managing their child's online safety. A number of these can be found below.

We strongly recommend that parents/carers set up parental controls on their child's smartphones and internet enabled devices to monitor their internet use and ensure they are being safe online. The NSPCC have a range of information and guides to support parents/carers setting up parental controls on their children's devices including restricting access to certain apps and time-related access.

If you have any queries or require any support then please contact the Safeguarding Team.
