Open Events for September 2025 Entry

Our Open Evening allows you to come and see what our school has to offer, with lots of activities going on in the different subject departments. The Open Mornings are to look around the school on a normal day. The same presentation by the leadership team is given at both the Open Evening and Morning.

There is no need to book for the open events.

Tuesday 24 September 2024, 5:30 - 8pm.
There will be a talk at 5:30pm, which is repeated at 6:30pm

Tuesday 15  October 2024
9am - 10:30am with a tour at 9am and talk at 9:45am

SEND Open Morning (specifically for parents/carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
Friday 18th October 2024
9:30am presentation and 10:15am tour

There is no parking available at the school so please use public transport, walk or cycle to the open events. If you have specific access requirements, please contact Reception on the number below.

Small Group Tours

For families considering an in-year transfer or submitting a late application for September entry, we are pleased to be able to offer small group tours of Cheney School.  This will give families a chance to see the School outside of our usual Open Events. We will prioritise families considering in-year transfers for these tours. 

Please contact our Communications Officer, Nichola Heer to arrange a time to tour the school.

If there are any specific members of staff that you would like to speak to during your visit (eg. The SEND team), please let us know.
