Year 10 Geographers trip to the Hampshire coast

Well done to all our year 10 Geographers who, despite the wet weather, had an excellent trip down to the Hampshire coastline this Monday and Tuesday.  The trip went to two places.  Firstly, we went to Milford-on-Sea to view the coastal protection and to measure longshore drift along Hurst Spit.  We also went to Barton-on-Sea to witness the varying impacts of different types of coastal management.  The students were a credit to the school.  They got rained on a lot, particularly on Tuesday, but remained positive and fun throughout the day!
