Curry and Quiz night

On Saturday 1st March the school canteen was transformed by Cheney Friends with tablecloths, candles and pots filled with bright daffodils wishing us a delicious and fun-filled evening for the Curry and Quiz night.

It was a fabulous evening with delicious curry and momos served up generously by Taste Tibet and a quiz devised and delivered by the fantastic quizmaster with each round based on a school subject and starting with a pictures round of teachers to name, from books, films and TV shows - including Grange Hill! There was even a round where all the answers were the lyrics in the chorus of a famous Queen song!

There were prizes for the three highest point-scoring teams, with 'All the Cooks' taking away the top prize of a giraffe teapot and cup set! 

The event was sold out and raises money for the next stage of Greening Cheney - the Sixth Form Area.
