Under 19 Girls Basketball team win County Championship Final

Congratulations to the U19 Girls basketball team who became County Champions on Tuesday winning the County Final 51-39 at Oxford University.

It was a thrilling county final against D'overbroeck's, with Cheney winning 51-39. Roberta N top scored with 23 points including a last second 3-pointer to seal the match. Captain Zanna H also lead from the front with 11 points and some brilliant defensive work. Our year 11's and year 10's in the team will also look to win their respective county cups later this term.

Congratulations also to the Under 16 Boys basketball team who have finished the group stage top of their group with 5 wins out of 5. Beating Bishop Wordsworth's School (Salisbury), John Madjeski Academy (Reading), Cherwell School, and Little Heath (Reading). They will progress to the round of 32 in March, and also look to win the county cup later this month.
