Maxi Highly Commended in the BBC Make A Difference Awards

You may recall us sharing with you that Maxi made it as finalist in the Animal category for the BBC Make a Difference Awards 2024. Maxi was up against some stiff competition, which you can hear about in the link below. Ms Partlett and Ms Rickards went along to the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday evening, which was full of inspirational people and stories (as well as a nice buffet!). Maxi made the final four from lots of entries, but didn’t win on the night. Maxi is a winner in our eyes though! She does so much fabulous work here at Cheney supporting our students and we can’t wait for her to return with Mrs Payne later this term. 

Maxi is very flattered to have been recognised at this level and also with her trophy. She would like to thank her Mum and Dad as well as all of her fans for helping her get to this point in her career. She’s looking forward to seeing you all soon!
