A group of Year 8 students went to the Back Country Living Museum in Dudley last Wednesday to learn more about life during the Industrial Revolution. We walked the historical streets and visited a 19th century chemist, a forge, a brickworks, and even a sweet shop and fish and chip shop (we did not visit the pub!) Students also went on a tour of a coal mine, led by the ghostly Elijah Wedge. A great day was had by all, and students represented the school impeccably.
