Achievement Awards

In the Spring term, we introduced Recognition badges for pastoral and academic achievement. We award pupils for their effort, attainment or improvement in their subject lessons, in tutor time for being ‘ready’, ‘respectful’ or their ‘best’, for reading, and for effort and participation within their House.

We want to recognise the effort our students put into school and the difference they make to the school community, encouraging them to feel pride in their place within the school and to continue being great ambassadors.

They are awarded a pin badge to wear on their blazer at the prize giving assembly which happens each term and their name is displayed on the celebration notice boards in each year group area at school.
