German Olympiad Success

On Friday, 21st June, Alessia, Kristina, Eirlys and Megan from Year 8 attended the University of Oxford’s German Network Prizegiving for their runner-up place in the German Olympiad. This is a national competition with thousands of entries and the students produced an amazing piece of work which was rewarded by the judges. The students chose to create a comic book about animals with a surprising twist, inspired by the work of Franz Kafka. Each student received a prize package and their work will be displayed in the Bodleian library’s Kafka exhibition. Well done!
