Year 10 Mock Interview Day

On Thursday 9th July, we had 28 volunteers from all different Career Sectors coming into school to interview our Year 10 students as part of their Mock Interview Day.
The students were suited and booted despite the hot weather. The employers were armed with their questions and at 10am the first round of students arrived.
Students were nervous going in (like a real interview would be), but many happy faces when they came out, and relieved faces too.
Students overwhelmly were positive about the experience.
Volunteers who took time out of their busy schedule were positive about the whole experience and glad they could help.
This is such a powerful and valuable way for students to learn about an interview in a 'mock' way.
