GCSE final cooks

On 11th, 12th and 13th March, the year 11 Food Preparation and Nutrition students had their final GCSE cooks. Their brief was to cook three dishes in three hours for a school canteen launching an international menu. I went to have a look as they were finishing off and preparing their dishes to be photographed and was blown away by the skills on show...take a look for yourselves below! There were boa buns from Asia, tricolor tortellini from Italy, borsch and chicken kiev from Ukraine. One student even made thin noodles for her thai spiced soup starter, stuffed ravioli for her main and a gorgeous looking chocolatey dessert - all in 3 hours?! Well done to everyone - only wish I could have tasted them!
